Jessica B. Reddick, Esq. is a founding partner of Knight, Morris & Reddick Law Group, LLC, specializing in corporate, entertainment and real estate law. Ms. Reddick works with start-up companies, guiding each entity through the initial formation process. For the newly formed and previously established businesses, Ms. Reddick is often retained as counsel to manage the day-to-day legal affairs for her clients. Some of the corporate services include, but are not limited to, negotiating and drafting all corporate documents, employment contracts, investment agreements, confidentiality agreements, non-profit tax exemptions and managing the status of all annual filings.
For her entertainment clients, ranging from entertainment companies to independent artists, Ms. Reddick negotiates deals internationally and drafts contracts within the arts and film, television, music, publishing and advertisement industries. Basic intellectual property work is also common with the filing of all trademark and copyright matters as she facilitates the branding of her clients.
Prior to co-founding KMR, Ms. Reddick obtained her Realtor and Brokers license in the State of Illinois. Her work as a Broker provides her with an insight into the commercial and residential real estate industry that exceeds the knowledge of a basic real estate attorney. She has worked extensively on all sides of a real estate transaction, having also previously worked as a mortgage broker and as corporate counsel for an agency representing the City of Chicago in the development of neighborhoods using federally regulated funds. Ms. Reddick has worked on the acquisition of properties, transferring of title to qualified developers for rehab, and facilitating the resale of rehabbed properties to income-eligible home buyers pursuant to specific federal regulations. Real estate valuations are also a specialty of KMR and property tax appeals are encouraged for all current homeowners and potential sellers of commercial or residential property.
